Blog tour, Book Trailer, Vampire Vic

The brand-new Vampire Vic trailer is hitting the screen! The small screen, your laptop or smart phone – you will not see this sweet little teaser at your local cineplex, so you need to click on the video below. I know we promised Matthew McConaughey for the trailer role of Victor Thetherson; if he could have kept his shirt on for just 5 minutes….

So we went with a different guy, someone who gets Vic. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for this guy, Pete (pretty sure that’s his name), this could be his big break. Watch Pete[?] starring as Vic, trying in vain to command respect from his accounting staff, with their mocking, slacking disregard mirrored in Pete-as-Vic’s face. Drink in Pete’s range, seeing in his posture Vic’s reluctance to go home to face his ex-wife – so expressive is Pete’s acting turn, there might as well be a thought-bubble over his head, “I really do not want to go home to face my ex-wife.”

And then thrill to see Vic (by now you’ve even forgotten there is an actor possibly named Pete portraying him), finally sinking his fangs into soft, yielding flesh. You’ll want to hold onto that excitement and happiness for Vic as long as you can…because thanks to a certain thespian we’re calling Pete, it quickly becomes all too obvious that Vic’s newfound bloodlust will pitch him headlong into a maelstrom of inhuman suffering that will make his previous problems pale in comparison. (We agree Pete’s acting is a little melodramatic. But it beats having you staring at McConaughey’s chest the whole time.)

So for Pete’s sake, click play below, and enjoy our Vampire Vic trailer.

Eugene Vampire Slayer, Vampire Vic

Eugene Vampire SlayerSOS!! Calling all Vampire Hunters!!! Urgent!!!!

^Stop^

I am collecting a multitude of V. Slayers.

^Stop^

To eradicate the outbreak of Vamps in France.

^Stop^

There has been an unusual amount of Gypsies “disappearing” from the Provence region in the South of France.

^Stop^

In the city of Cassis, it has been especially severe. After the city’s yearly festival honoring the patron Saint of the Gypsies (Saint Sarah) there has been an extra-ordinary amount of vampire activity. So many homes abandoned or vacant. No one seems to care because they are Gypsies. That’s not right, we need to help out people in need.

^Stop^

I can’t do this alone, I need your help. I am trying to amass at least 100 V. Slayers by the end of the month.

^Stop^

Your humble servant,

^Stop^

Sven the VS

p.s. Not really your servant, I will be in charge.

Sven,

Happy to see your e mail. I loved the south of France!! Gypsies of course don’t own homes – otherwise we’d call them “Romanians” – but regardless, if the vacancy is what you say it is in Cassis, I bet the price of real estate is rock bottom. I was in Marseille a few years ago and prices are outrageous there. I would love to own a bit of real estate on the Mediterranean. Thanks for the tip. Please don’t tell too many people about this. Is this some pyramid scheme? If so, that is fine I am already a diamond member of Amway & I have the Pink Escalade from Mary Kay. All I ask is that I am up the pyramid as much as possible. I will be in Eastern Europe for some Slaying training by this weekend & will need some down time (offing French vamps definitely qualifies, the trick is killing them before they surrender). I can be in Cassis by mid-week.

Eugene V.S.

p.s. Don’t ask me to STOP, that’s weird.

Blog tour, Vampire Vic

Vampire Vic, Blog tourSo this is what the rock’n’roll lifestyle feels like. Harris Gray has been partying non-stop, at home, since May 6th. We’ve got it up, and we’re going to keep it up (full credit for that rockin’ line to fellow hardcore tourers, Loverboy), at least until July 26. You want to party (at your home) with us (while we stay at our home)? Let’s do this thing.

It’s called a blog tour, which is just rock’n’roll by a different name. Our tour organizer and virtual bus driver, Tracee Gleichner at Pump Up Your Book, has booked gigs for us with various book bloggers and online mags. You’ll see us interviewed, excerpted, spotlighted, featured and revealed – basically everything short of exposed.

You know what’s extra-ultra-super-sweet about a blog tour? You can finally be that rock’n’roll groupie, in the comfort and safety of your home. Just point, swig and click. Perhaps you own a power phone or e-pad? Then you can even leave the house, touring with us while waiting in queue to pick up the kids from school or dipping your biscotti at the local coffeeshop. Hair metal, grunge or pop rockers, think of us as you like, just jump on our e-bandwagon and join the tour.

Or, maybe you’re the type who doesn’t care to rock, but would like to win a Kindle. Then this is also the tour for you.

Vampire Slayer Eugene

Eugene Vampire SlayerAs you can imagine I’ve been up to my eyeballs after all hell broke loose on the Extreme Makeover set. Who were the marketing geniuses who thought a “Re-Vamp” show would be harmless good fun? Maybe it was a wake-up call, to bump the vamps off the entertainment section and back to the obits where they belong.

Speaking of which, I hear Harris Gray took the hint and moved on to writing about something they know. Or at least, not about vamps. I’m still going to use their site to answer your questions, while I haggle with GoDaddy for my own domain. This one’s from a nice young couple in the wrong line of work.

Eugene,

My girlfriend & I are taking a cross-country trip. We are part-time ghost hunters hoping to make it “full time” soon. We are traveling from Iowa to California. We can’t wait to hit the haunted Queen Anne Hotel in Frisco, the Hearst Castle, & Disneyland out west. Is there anywhere else you can recommend? We would like to stop by some other places on the way there to do some Ghost Hunting, like the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. We have about three weeks total on our vacation. Any other places we should go on the way to Cali? We are so excited. Also, I am going to propose to my girlfriend at the Winchester Mansion. Talk about a -shotgun- wedding…ha ha ha.

Regards, big fans,

Tim Gravel [last name deleted to protect privacy]

Timmy,

Sounds nice. Have you thought about taking the train? You should really take the California Zephyr. There is a great little train station in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. It will take you all the way out to San Francisco. Really a quality, relaxing ride. Super romantic. Your girlfriend will really appreciate the time together & you can truly decide if marriage is right for you. The San Diego Zoo & Sea World are both a MUST see. Stop by Manresa restaurant in Los Gatos just outside San Francisco. Amazing food & atmosphere. It is such a beautiful restaurant & a great place to propose, should you decide she is Ms. Right.

A word to the wise. Don’t call California “Cali”, the locals hate that, almost as much as they despise using “Frisco” instead on San Francisco. Don’t do that, you look like a stooge. Good luck out there & have a splendid trip.

All my best,

Eugene, VS

P.S. Ghost Hunting is for chumps. Don’t get sucked into the hype. Total sham. Except for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. Something not right about those puppets.

Vamps are everywhere, but I can’t be, so email me, I have the answers, like WebMD for everything WebMD doesn’t cover, and some that it does. For instance did you know that vamp saliva is not gluten free? One more reason to hate them.

Kindle Freebie, Vampire Vic

Vampire Vic by Harris GrayFree VV, Free VV! That’s the cry on the street, the virtual street, the two-lane info highway connecting the cortex of Harris Gray. We know Tibet and Mumia have dibs, but we just can’t wait any longer. In Vampire Vic, “free VV” would refer to releasing Vic’s inner vampire. But right now we’re talking money, Vampire Vic free for Kindle, today (April 30) through Thursday (May 2). And then $0.99 through Sunday May 12. Woe to you who have already paid bigger, better money for VV, your timing was terrible, but we love you for it.

Review VV, Review VV! That is Harris Gray you hear, crying for reviews of Vampire Vic on Amazon. It would mean the world to Harris Gray. We couldn’t love you any more than we already do, just more intensely.
